Latest Editions

Been a while since I got to update the portfolio as it's been a very busy season. I uploaded the commissions that I did during the season which consisted of more calligraphy which I uploaded to a newly created calligraphy gallery as well as two new pieces in the illustration section where I tried my hand at a new subject and came out rather well.

I've got a few more pieces ready to upload, but I'm going to wait until I have a few more done since I plan on changing a few things in my portfolios layout and organization.

New Editions

It's been so long since I got to upload some new pieces. A phrase I've been using a lot lately would be "Life Happens", and that's very much the reason I haven't gotten to upload much in a while. I added three more pieces to the storyboards section to add to the story of the one I had posted. Two calligraphy pieces have been uploaded to the Illustration section. Two portrait pieces have been uploaded to the Traditional section and two pieces have been uploaded to the Character Art section.

New pieces with new mediums uploaded

It's been a long road since graduation and the exhibition that I've been preparing for. I've uploaded three new pieces to the character art section. Wood Elf Huntress is a pencil sketch created using the concept from Elven Huntress and taking it a step further. I'm excited that I finally got Torn Between Worlds and Woodland Fairy uploaded as these have been two of my favorite pieces and they're both painted using watercolor paints, which I've decided to keep on using for the colors of most of my pieces. All three of these pieces have been popular with people who have viewed my work, but Torn Between Worlds and Woodland Fairy have been the most popular and I received a lot of compliments on them during my exhibition.

Now I'll continue to keep working on more art and start preparing for a local art contest that I look forward to every year. I've got less than two months to show them what I've learned.

New Concept to Creation piece uploaded

I uploaded a new piece to the Concept to Creation section. It depicts the evolution of my piece On Our Own, how it developed from a simple thumbnail concept sketch into a finished piece and the thoughts behind it's development.

New Character Art Uploaded

Uploaded a new piece in the Character Art section. The character is named Nostarion, I created him by modeling him after myself and fitting the concepts and ideas set in the world of the Star Wars Jedi. It was a fun piece to work on and it's one that also offers a little self exploration.
